Play

How we play shows who we are as a culture. Therefore if we can improve how we play (children and adults) we can improve who we are as people.

Pease Park - Austin, Texas - Pease District Park is a beloved piece of Austin’s park system. Playground Concept Design integrated for the 84-acre Pease Park which serves many students and urban dwellers on a daily basis thanks to its proximity to Downtown and to The University of Texas at Austin.

Knob Hill Park - Austin, Texas - An old “Dillo” bus from the Austin downtown free route was located in an auction lot in San Antonio. It was purchased and converted into a playscape for a park with a San Francisco theme. Creative Action, a nonprofit arts-based youth and development organization partnered with local artist Larissa Stephens, Del Valle ISD and Brookfield Residential to bring the big Trolly to life. The Mix at Kissing Tree - San Marcos, Texas - An interwoven pattern of bocce ball, horseshoes, pickle ball and an 18 hole putting course provides many opportunities for play in this active adult community. See more on the developer’s website: https://kissingtree.com/amenities/the_mix/

Hensel Park - Texas A&M University - Vision Plan for a historic park at the intersection of the main campus and the cities of College Station and Bryan, Texas. Developing a successful masterplan that addresses the needs of students, families and public events was a complicated process that has the potential to bring joy to many people.

Bryant Park - Austin, Texas - This three acre park is in the center of a new neighborhood for first time home buyers. The neighborhood is within sight of the Circuit of the Americas so naturally we wanted to bring the excitement of the only Formula 1 race track to the playground with this highly technical tricycle track. And when you need a pit stop there are hammocks nearby.

Orchard Ridge - Liberty Hill, Texas - A challenging playscape with custom features like a hillside boardwalk as well a traditional game courts. And a great view for the kids brave enought to climb to the top!
